Not surprising. I think it's pretty common knowledge by now that Quentin has a foot fetish. This is most notable due to the scenes in Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction where a lot of time is spent focusing on Uma Thurman's feet.
I just don't get foot fetishes. Gross. Feet and knees are just nasty. Ick.
I believe the shirt says RR/QT: BACK TO BACK. It's probably a reference to Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarentino's Grindhouse double feature.
I'm not sure, but I think the reason they chose an AC/DC shirt design must be a play on "back in black"... but changed to "back to back". Not really very funny or witty in my opinion. But then again, I don't have any hit cult movies, either. :)
Maybe he wanted a litte toe cheese with his wine..I agree with you, seumas...I don't get the whole foot fetish thing either,but in all fairness to Quentin, he would probably think that my obsession with women's eyebrows ( I like 'em wide and thick, like vintage Brooke Shields) is a little bit weird too.... we all have our own trip triggers, wouldn't you agree?
