Angus, a brilliant coming-of-age movie that was filmed back in 1995, has yet to find it's way to DVD, because studio executives don't feel like there would be enough interest... Well, I call bullshit on that, my friends. Yes, I'm about 12 years too late, but I am now jumping on the bandwagon to create awareness for this great movie, and ensure that other people will have the chance to watch this little piece of awkwardly amazing film-making (Plus, it has a really rad soundtrack). Check out the YouTube clips, and if you have a second sign the petition below... who knows, it might make a difference. Woo!

...Petition to release Angus on DVD....

Hmm... I suppose I'll have to rewatch this movie, because all I remember of it is a scene where there was a fat kid in a big frilly 70s tuxedo.

Oh wait, how will I watch it . . . Crap!

Along these lines, I'm kind of a fan of "Freak the Mighty". Call me lame, but I'm a sucker for that movie.

I guess it's the generational thing again. I couldn't watch the whole clip. Kept getting the urge to open a vein.

"Coming of Age" films repel me.

I wholeheartedly agree with this!

I've wondered why I haven't been able to find that li'l gem in DVD bins anywhere.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this movie.

It has the Shermanator before he was "American Pie"-d.

James Vanderbeek reveals that he really IS a tool.

And the rotund one gets the girl...almost.

Bloody perfect.

I'd rather watch a video of Angus Young...

Support the writer's strike and go see live music (or music on DVD).
