Donald Trump is a good tipper.

This is from chick's blog who's friend was the waiter at this restaurant. Guess Trump is coming out with some new reality show and he's trying to drum up publicity for it by doing little things like this... well, I'm excited for the waiter, anyway. I'd love a free $10,000 for some douche to promote his new show.

The 1's and 0's are neither the same density nor size.
Handwriting is different, too.

Looks like a fake to me.

The most I ever tipped was 2 years ago was a $425.32 bar bill that was mysteriously shrunken to $85.00 by a waitress at the Horsebrass. I gave a nice $300.00 cash tip. Tis was a beautiful day.

P.S. always tip in cash. You can pay with the card, but never tip on the card. Then they don't have to claim it on their pesky taxes.

That bills a fake for publicity sake.

There's an alleged quote from Trump saying he wasn't in California that day and it's the restaurant just trying to get publicity.

Either way...

Snopes.com broke this one as a hoax, alas, but it was not for publicity from the Trump camp or from the restaurant. A third party made it up for the site derober.com.

While a $10k tip is pretty cool, and by the way, real as I've seen this story before, what kind of pretentious a-hole spends close to $100 for two iced teas (s/b $5) two bowls of soup (s/b $6), two plates of pasta (s/b $25) and two cappuccino's (s/b $8)?

I will never understand the idiocy of some people and what they equate as cool or hip when it comes to how much money they can spend for absolutely nothing. It boggles the mind.

I stand corrected on the voracity of the tip in question.

Still stand by my statement of the stupidity of people with too much money though...
