Not quite the right number... But, they may have reversed the numbers 5 and 7 on purpose...

From the Insy 4 blog:

What intrigued and confused visitors even more are two mysterious websites; 9906573.com and 9906753.com. Both sites appeared online only days after the release of the new IndianaJones.com. Are these two sites created by Lucasfilm as part of an online marketing campaign?

9906573.com initially contained the release date of Indy 4 with a link to a wikipedia page of the Ark of the Covenant. Later this link got replaced by a reference to a bible text. And now it appears completely empty.

9906753.com shows a close-up image of that number on a crate with a link to the official Indy 4 site and a quote from Raiders: "That thing represents everything we got into archaeology for in the first place"

I didn't read the header at first, and thought "somebody needs to get a life," then I noticed it was Aaron. Sorry Aaron

Um... I probably still need to get a life... But, it is really all I do...

I've only watched the Indy movies once (a few years ago), but I'm looking forward to the new one. And anyone who says Harrison Ford isn't still damned handsome can eat me.

Aaron has really topped himself in the wacky world of uber-geekdom! Glad he's not trying to hunt/gather food for himself and family.

Now Indy can be son (Crusade flash-back scene), himself/adult (all 3) and father (Indy 4), all to the Indy character. Makes my hair hurt.

Seumas - Maybe Gaybob will eat you...sounds to me like you are bi-curious...Harrison Ford, at the end of the day, is just as hideous and repulsive as any other man...What is the matter with you people??????

Now, lets talk about Selma Blair,Jessica Biehl, or any other woman under the age of 60....Goddamn man, get a fuckin grip...

My comment is in relation to all the recent comments I've seen about how Harrison Ford is supposedly so hideous and repulsive now that he's old. That's just ridiculous. I hope I look that rugged and handsome when I'm that age, so I can still pull in Jessica Biehls when I'm collecting social security.

So when does Goonies II come out?

Seumas - My comments about Harrison Ford have nothing to do with his age- I found him hideous and repulsive in American Graffiti too..my position is generic..I find ALL men hideous and repulsive...call me homophobic if you must label me...I like the way girls look ....Period. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Seumas said...

I don't know that it's homophobic. Maybe you have some sort of genetic deficiency that prevents you from having a relative grasp on what people of the same sex are fugly and generally attractive, like everyone else in the world has.

Wow - That's harsh...Hey, here's a thought...let's get back to making fun of celebs instead of each other...I guess I crossed the line with my tepid attempts at humor. I should know better.

If nothing else, this proves that comedy should be left in the hands of professionals, like Rick and Sarah (and Tim).....Peace out...

Another "Indy" movie...

...YAWN...

Harrison Ford is the vanilla ice cream of actors. Slightly flavorful and filling, but ultimately uninteresting...yet enormously popular. He blazed a trail that similarly dull actors like Kevin Costner and Ben Affleck would follow.

Yeah, I know. I'm a dick. What can ya do.

scamorama said...

Exactly, Randy!

Ford can express the emotional gamut from "A" to "B". He's largely a one-trick pony: he can do the Han Solo/Indy character, but put him in a movie that requires any reach, and he's lost.

Evidently, though, it's a popular pony he rides.
